Interns Orientation Program

Interns orientation programme was organized for newly joined interns of Winter 2020 batch on 4th, 5th & 6th March 2020.
4th March 2020
Morning session was begun with the inauguration and Dr. Usha Radke, Dean & Dr. S.R. Shenoi, Vice Dean VSPM DCRC, Nagpur, first of all, congratulated all newly joined interns for their success in Final Year University Examination. They felicitated first topper Ms. Shreya Wankhede & second topper Ms. Yashashree Rajguru for their excellent performance and securing the highest marks.
A welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Surekha Rathod, Chairperson, Interns Monitoring Committee followed by a motivational speech by Vice Dean Sir and Dean madam. Dean madam insists interns maintain discipline and actively participate in all the events throughout the one-year internship program. Dr. Apurva Mohite conducted the inaugural program and Dr. Jaishree Chahande delivered the Vote of Thanks.
The first session began with the ‘One Year Internship Plan (Rules & regulations)’ by Dr. Surekha Rathod, who encouraged all the interns to attend clinical postings and outreach postings sincerely to avoid extension in an internship program.
The second session was by Dr. Rahul Dahake on ‘Infection Control’. The third session was conducted by Dr. Apurva Mohite on Research Synopsis Writing. The fourth session was on ‘Spine Care-Yoga Posture.’
After lunch break afternoon sessions were conducted on ‘Benefits of Research’ & ‘Communication Skills’
5th March 2020
Second day morning session was started by Dr. Sushil Naik on ‘Dental Ethics’, followed by second session on ‘Ergonomics’, third Session on ‘Gender Equity’ and last session on ‘Holistic Wellness in Productivity & Performance’.
6th March 2020
Third day first sessions was on ‘How to Prepare for NEET’ followed by workshop on ‘Values in Dentistry’. Under the guidance of Dr. Surekha Rathod , Chairperson of the Interns Monitoring Committee, Dr. Jaishree Chahande, Dr. Apurva Mohite & Dr. Sangeeta Bhattacharya worked hard and organized the three days interns orientation programme successfully.
