The Dept. of Oral Pathology & Microbiology, Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College & Research Centre, Nagpur inaugurated the Torch activities under the aegis of Indian Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathologists (IAOMP) in collaboration with Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Nagpur. The event was inaugurated by Dr. V.K. Hazarey, Ex-Dean GDC & H, Nagpur. He emphasised on the importance of Oral cancer awareness and the power of working together to beat the Oral cancer. The events conducted were Reel making competition and Oral cancer awareness rally for Undergraduates and Interns. Various oral cancer awareness camps were organised by the Dept. in association with Public Health Dentistry, where self- mouth examination pamphlets for Oral precancer & cancer and Tobacco deaddiction were distributed. The Dept. is grateful to the IAOMP President Dr. Puneet Ahuja, Secretary Dr. Nadeem Jeddy and office bearers for giving the opportunity to conduct various activities.
