The department of Public Health Dentistry of VSPM dental college & research centre has celebrated DENTIST day on 01ST JULY 2019. The program was organized at our adopted school Indramata, Ekatmata Nagar, of the institution from 10.00a.m. Onwards. It included a health talk by Dr.Swetha Gndhi and conducted Quiz competition for school children. The program was inaugurated by school Principal and HOD Dr.Venugopal Reddy. There were about 120 participants who graced the occasion including Heads of the departments, faculties and students. The topic for the quiz included ‘Oral Health coverage in India with special emphasis on the state of Maharashtra. The lecture was beneficial for the students .There was also Drawing competition for students on the theme to create awareness about oral health in the state of Maharashtra. The program was a success with definite take home message for the students.
