Finite Element Analysis Applications In dentistry

Department of Prosthodontic and crown and bridge at VSPM Dental college and Research Centre had organized guest lecture of Mr. Rajendra Khapare on “Finite Element analysis: Applications In dentistry” on 17th September 2019, in collaboration with IPS Nagpur Branch.

In today’s global world, with rapid improvements and developments of computer technology, the FEA has become a powerful technique in dental implant biomechanics because of its versatility in calculating stress distributions within complex structures. By understanding the basic theory, method, application, and limitations of FEA in implant dentistry, the clinician will be better equipped to interpret results of FEA studies and apply these results to clinical situations.

Mr.Rajendra Khapare, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Ramdeo Baba College of Engineering & Management, Nagpur had delivered a lecture and shared the knowledge about Finite Element analysis and their uses in dentistry related to research areas.
