Mridang 2022

The Student Council organised a cultural event “Mridang” on 28th April 2022. The event was graced by Chief Guest Shri.Vishnu Manohar ji, Chairman Ranjeet Babu Deshmukh, officiating Dean Dr. Ramakrishna Shenoi, Chairperson Student Council Dr. Shubhangi Khandekar, Head of the Departments and Staff. Students from UGs, PGs and Interns took part in actively. Mridang 2022 – the cultural event, started with a welcome dance – Ganeshvandana. There were 6 solo, 4 duet, 4 mini group and 5 group dance performances and melodious 6 solo, 6 duet and 1 group music performances. Highlight of the event was a group dance performed by Interns – Tribute to Lord Shiva & to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. There were outstanding performances by the students like folk dance – Maharashtrian Lawani, Dance on Women Empowerment theme, Dance on child Labour theme and very energetic Tollywood & Bollywood dance and dance also on Patriotic song. Dignitaries praised the efforts of all the performers who by their extraordinary performances motivated everyone. Winners were felicitated by trophies, medals and certificates for each category.
