Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery deals with the art of diagnosis, treatment of various diseases, pathologies and defects involving the orofacial region.
The objective of the undergraduate and postgraduate training program is to acquire knowledge, skills of examination, understanding the etio-pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment planning of various maxillofacial surgical problems.
We have a fully equipped OT and surgical ICU for comprehensive patient care. Major cases like Ankylosis of TMJ, Facial Fractures, Malignancy, Orthognathic surgeries, Plastic repair, etc are performed.
State of Art minor O.T caters to the minor oral surgery needs of the patients wherein removal of impacted teeth, management of cyst and tumors of the oral cavity, pre-prosthetic surgery, biopsies, and dental implants are performed on day to day basis.

RESEARCH
Good quality, focused and ethical research in the area of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for the
betterment of serving the society with standard operating protocol developed with the data
obtained from these studies. The department promotes post graduate research in the area of
