About
- Dr.Mukta Motwani has done her B.D.S. in April-1988 and M.D.S. in April-1991 from the prestigious Government dental college Nagpur and currently working as a Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at VSPM’s Dental College and Research Center, Nagpur.
- Dr.Motwani has more than 25 years of teaching experience and recognized PG teacher and Examiner since 2003 in MUHS and other Universities.
- Dr.Motwani has conducted numerous Scientific Activities namely :
- ‘Clinical Photography’ workshop, 6-7 January at Sharad Pawar Dental College, Sawangi, Wardha.
- ‘Scientific Journalism’ workshop, 6-7 January at Sharad Pawar Dental College, Sawangi, Wardha
- 17th National Conference of IAOMR at Sharad Pawar Dental College, Sawangi, Wardha.
- Dr.Motwani has several CDE programs to her credit at VSPM Dental College that certify her efficient leadership qualities and management skills.
- She has more than 70 publications at state, national and international levels.
- She was awarded the Best Individual Performer by VSPM Academy of Higher Education in 2013.
- She has presented innumerable papers at various conferences at both the national and international levels.
- At present, she is the co-coordinator of the Dental Education Unit under which various workshops are conducted in collaboration with MUHS to improve the teaching of both faculty and PG students.
- She is also the Chairperson of the VISA committee under which interdepartmental and interdisciplinary activities are carried out on a monthly basis and the reports are published in the VISA magazine.
- She is an excellent orator and has delivered many keynote lectures at various conferences and workshops in dental colleges and at the same time also a very dedicated teacher who works relentlessly for the holistic development of the students.
