The International Day of Radiology (IDoR) is an annual event promoting the role of medical imaging in modern healthcare. It is celebrated on November 8 each year and coincides with the anniversary of the discovery of X-rays. It was first introduced in 2012, as a joint initiative of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), and the American College of Radiology (ACR). The International Day of Radiology is acknowledged and celebrated by nearly 200 national, sub-speciality, and related societies around the world.To commemorate this occasion, a competition was organized in the Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology for teaching staff of VSPMDCRC on 10^th November 2020 on theme – Radiology terms related word search puzzle competition. Total 9 Participants from various departments participated in the fun based puzzle competition. The winner was announced after the competition and was felicitated by prizes. Dr Trupti from Department of Oral Pathology was declared winner and Dr AnkitaRamteke and Dr Pratik Burad Department of Conservative Dentistry was declared runner up. The prizes were given at hands of Dr Mukta Motwani Prof. & Head.

The programme was planned and executed by Dr. Mukta Motwani Prof. & Head with her team of staff members Dr.Apeksha Balpande Professor, Dr.Tapasya Karemore Associate Professor, Dr. Anuraag Choudhary Associate Professor, Dr. Smriti Golhar Assistant Professor and Dr Apurva Mohite Assistant Professor. All the departmental Post graduate students also contributed to the success of the programme.
