Covid-19 pandemic has created a challenging situation in conventional ways of dental management of patients and also encouraged towards positive use of the online platform for sharing of knowledge. In this context Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in association with the Infection Control Committee successfully organized a Webinar for Teaching Staff, P.G. Students and Nursing Staff on “Heat of Pandemic: Metamorphosis of Dentistry – Play it Safe” by the renowned Guest Speaker Dr. Vivek Hegde, Vice-Dean and Head Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, MA Rangoonwala College of Dentistry, Pune on 9th November 2020 at 10:00 a.m. on Zoom platform.
A total of 65 participants registered for this Webinar and many of the participants watched it live on FACEBOOK LIVE. All the participants were content with session, queries and doubts related to the topic were cleared by the Speaker. The webinar was informative and helpful for participants for managing dental procedure in day today practice of institute in various departments in view of COVID 19.
Organizing team thanks VSPM Management, Dean Dr. Usha Radke and Vice-Dean Dr. R. Shenoi. All the staff & committee members & PGs of the department worked hard for the success of the webinar. The overall session was successful.
