Resident as teacher (RAT) is been conducted by Dental Education Technology committee since 2015. A two day workshop is conducted once every year for the post graduate students. Objectives of this workshop are to train the PGs in teaching technology so as to perform their role as a teacher during their tenure as PG student and to impart knowledge, skills and requisite confidence in them to prepare them for their role as teacher in future. All the participating pg students are given course completion certificates at the end of the second day. The workshop is conducted by 12 to 15 specially trained faculty members of DET committee.
