Advanced Endodontics Workshop, which focuses on Contemporary endodontic practice under magnification (Dental operating microscope) is hosted annually by the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. Post Graduate students of colleges from central India, staff of neighboring colleges and practicing clinicians in the city have taken advantages of this opportunity one of its kind in this region.

Objective of this facility is to train the participants in all contemporary endodontic treatment protocols under Dental operating microscope. The course includes extensive didactic lecture series followed by actual hands-on exposure to all participants over a period of 3 days. The course faculty is Dr. Vivek Hegde, a renowned microendodontist currently working as a Vice-principal and H.O.D., Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, M.A. Rangoonwala College of Dental sciences and research center, Pune.

All participants are given certificates of excellence at the end of the course and are encouraged to remain in association with the course faculty to clarify difficulties during patient management. This successful venture has completed 5 years and trained 40 microendodontists since 2016 till date.
