The event was organized by department of OMR, VSPM Dental College and Research Centre, Nagpur, on occasion of National IAOMR Day celebrated on 24th April, every year. The speaker for this webinar was Dr Neeta Misra, professor, department of OMR, BBD Dental college, Lucknow, UP. The speaker introduced the topic with difficulties faced by females in day-to-day life to manage health problems. Dr Misra showed many disorders affecting oral cavity among females. She emphasized on other social problems like domestic violence and many more areas where women’s health can get compromised. The speaker also discussed the importance of history taking, meticulous clinical examination and need of appropriate treatment for female population.

The webinar was attended by more than 70 Oral Medicine and Radiology specialist across India. This interactive lecture was well received by the participants and they made it more interesting by asking relevant questions about the topic. Vice Dean – Clinical and HOD Dr Mukta Motwani welcomed the audience while officiating Dean, Dr R. Shenoi Congratulated the department and appreciated the choice of the topic for celebrating this special day.
