The department of Paediatric &Preventive dentistry, VSPMDCRC, Hingna, Nagpur conducted the value added course “Life skills for dental students” at VSPM Dental College and Research Centre through workshop and webinars organised for 7 days. Dr A Radha Krishnan Nair, and Dr GauriHardikarinternational speakers for the resource persons for the webinars. Dr Purva Chaudhari (VSPM DCRC) conducted the offline workshop of implementation of life skills in clinical and academic career.The program was intended to orient the final year BDS students and interns to the essential life skills, and train them to utilise these skills in their daily routine. The module of the program was divided as 1) Concept of life skills 2) Introduction to life skills and 3) practical application of the life skills. Mastering these life skills will help the students to become more resilient in challenging situations.
