It is a great honour and pleasure to welcome you as the Dean of VSPM Dental College and Research centre, Nagpur. Under the able guidance of our dynamic Chairman, Hon’ble Shri Ranjeetbabu Deshmukh and Vice Chairman, Hon’ble Dr. Shri Ashishrao Deshmukh the institution is known for its professional development and community service programs.
Since its inception in 1996, the college has strived to provide a favourable and ingenious oral health care environment, catering rural population with community-oriented curriculum and promotes learning with best educational practices and sound academics. Today, the institute is a postgraduate college with 100 BDS seats and 26 PG seats in 8 specialties, affiliated to MUHS, Nashik and recognized by the Dental Council of India. Along with this, PhD program and fellowship programs in Implantology and Esthetic Dentistry are offered.

The solar panelled campus houses all the facilities from ICT enabled classrooms, pre-clinical, clinical, hostels, canteen, library, residential facility and sports complex with 24*7 electricity backup to create an amiable environment for teaching, learning and patient care. In line with the green initiative, the campus has environment friendly initiatives like STP and ETP.
RD DCRC is one of the most sought-after colleges for UG and PG courses because of its location, dedicated faculty, well equipped clinics and the adaptive curriculum that incorporates the advancing technology. A plethora of hands-on experience with patients prepares our students for the challenges that lie ahead. The institute has kept up with changing facets in oral healthcare provision and dental education. Along with regular dental treatment, highly advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities are provided to serve the rural population as per demographic treatment needs. The college also provides extension services through satellite clinics and camps.
The HSET unit is the pride of the institute in terms of teaching and learning resources, one of the first established units in the state. Research and innovation form the core for academics and health care. The collaborative research and MoUs with medical, engineering, life sciences and other colleges near the campus and in the city provide a unique platform to the students.
