Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti event was held on 3rd Oct. 2024 at Dental Library, commemorating the birth anniversaries of two great leaders who shaped India’s destiny. The program celebrated their principles and contributions to the nation. Dr. Abhay Kolte, Dean, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the relevance of Gandhian philosophy and Shastriji’s leadership in today’s world. A floral tribute was offered to the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri by the dignitaries, symbolizing respect and reverence for their contributions. Students & Interns eloquently spoke about Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of non-violence, truth, and his pivotal role in India’s independence and also delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the simplicity, dedication, and vision of Lal Bahadur Shastri, focusing on his slogan, “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan.” The program was a resounding success, leaving the audience inspired by the enduring legacies of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
