The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College and Research Centre, organized Bal Mela and Puppet show as part of Children’s Day celebrations on 28th November 2025, featuring engaging and child-friendly activities. A Healthy Smile Corner educated children and parents about correct brushing techniques and the importance of limiting sugar intake through colourful models, live demonstrations, and interactive learning. The Experience Zone (My First Dental Visit) familiarized children with the dental environment in a fun and fear-free manner by introducing them to the dental chair and basic instruments, helping reduce anxiety and build positive attitudes toward dental visits. Additionally, a lively Puppet Show conveyed messages about good oral hygiene and fearless dental visits through entertaining storytelling, making learning enjoyable and memorable for children.
