Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College & Research Center, Nagpur, organized Continuing Dental Education (CDE) program on Aesthetic Excellence through CAD CAM- Restorations accredited and approved by Maharashtra State Dental Council with 5 CDE points.
The purpose of the event was to improve the knowledge and clinical skills of the Postgraduate students and to provide better restorative care to the patients using technologically advanced techniques. The Guest speaker of the event was Dr. Rahul Atara, Director at Kingsway Hospital and an eminent endodontist practicing in Nagpur. This program intended to impart knowledge on CAD CAM technology to process precise and accurate restorations chairside, thus bypassing limitations of traditional methods by utilizing digital impressions and automated manufacturing processes. The lecture was followed by demonstration on simplified and predictable techniques for obtaining excellent clinical outcomes with CAD CAM. The overall event attained great success with 16 registrations.
