Admission 2024-25The department of Public Health Dentistry of VSPM dental college & research centre has celebrated World No Tobacco Day on 31st May 2019. The following activities were organized in order to signify the day:
- General dental check-up and oral cancer screening was done for the truck drivers and autodrivers and the diagnosed were councelled to seek the treatment at the earliest.
- An awareness programme was organized at our adopted village Bazargaon in the form of a skit and health talk to make the people aware of the Tobacco and its ill effects.
- A radio talk was delivered through All India Radio, Nagpur and Radio Mirchi, Nagpur in order to spread the message of quitting Tobacco to the General public. The interaction was lasted for 13 minutes with discussion on tobacco usage and the various ways to quit the habit.
The Programme was a success with huge response from the general public.
