Odontogenic tumours are a heterogeneous group of lesions of diverse clinical behaviour and histopathologic types, ranging from hamartomatous lesions to malignancy. Because odontogenic tumours arise from tissue which make our teeth, they are unique to the jaw and by extension almost unique to dentistry.
Lecture was conducted on ODONTOGENIC TUMOURS by DR. V.K. HAZAREY, speaker who is most eminent personality in the field of Oral & maxillofacial Pathology. Objective of event was to explore odontogenic tumours in more detail. The session was interactive where speaker shared his knowledge on odontogenic tumours specially for IIIrd BDS students & interns.
This lecture was organised by Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology VSPM DCRC and which was inaugurated by Dr. Usha Radke, Dean & Dr. Ramakrishna Shenoi, Vice Dean & was coordinated by Dr. Alka Dive, Head of the Department. Session was attended by 4 staff members, 3 PGs, 37 Interns & 97 IIIrd BDS students.
