Admission 2024-25The city of oranges ,Nagpur hosted the 40th Indian Society Of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry Conference “PEDOCON 2018. Around 1700 delegates registered for this conference, which was inaugurated at VASANTRAO DESHPANDE HALL, CIVIL LINES, NAGPUR on 24th October 2018.
Program was graced by President ISPPD- Dr. Srinivas Namineni, chief guest of function-Dr. Ved Prakash Mishra, Honorable Secretary-Dr. Haalaswamy Kambalimath, President elect-Dr. J. Baby John. Other dignitaries on the dais were Dr. Rahul Hegde, chairperson, Dr. Sudhindra Baliga and organizing secretary, Dr. Nilesh Rathi. Academic achievers of the subject were with felicitated.
On this occasion ISPPD and Special Olympics Bharat with International Association for Disability and oral health (IADH) have joined hands to improve the oral health of people with developmental disabilities by collaboration through this memorandum of understanding (MOU). Through this MoU, they not only want to ensure athletes have appropriate dental treatment but also to create greater awareness among the people including the dental fraternity and conduct training programs for oral health care providers to enhance skill for prevention and management of differently abled individuals. Dr. Reena Kumar, Dean of divyajyoti college of dental sciences, modinagar introduced the international athletes. She is a national clinical advisor, special Olympics bharat. International athletes Ms. Akansha Mhatre – winner of unified football 2017 and Ms. TruptiS helar winner of unified football 2018 were felicitated.
