“Checkmate” a virtual chess tournament was held on 20th July 2021 on the occasion of World Chess Day. The Tournament was held on virtual Chess gaming online software application “chess.com”. The Tournament was held under the Guidance of Dr. Anuj Chandak, Sports Incharge, Student council. Rishikesh Doifode and Shreeya Jagtap, sports secretary managed and supervised the tournament. Raghav Munje, Music hosted the tournament, he live streamed the tournament on Twitch.tv.18 participants actively participated in the tournament. All of them were randomly paired for 5 minutes blintz matches for a total of 90 minutes and the top 3 players on the score board were felicitated.
