The department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, VSPM DCRC, Nagpur organised a series of 2 online lectures under the gambit of e-aluminavista in the month of July 2021.

The first lecture titled “Dental office Design & practice management strategies: from inception to success” was conducted on 16thJuly 2021. Dr. Pushpa Hazarey, well known academician and clinician and a stalwart in Orthodontics consented to be the chief guest for the session. The speaker for the session was Dr.Kedar Wani, 2008 batch alumni of our esteemed institute and currently a private practitioner in Pune. The session was moderated by Dr.Khushboo Agarwal, 2008 batch alumni, private practitioner in Nagpur as well as PhD scholar.
The program was hosted by Dr. Himija Karia. Dr. Pratima Shenoi, Chairperson Scientific committee delivered the welcome address. Dr. Usha Shenoy, HOD dept. of Orthodontics, VSPM DCRC introduced the chief guest and spoke about the various achievements of the department.

The event got a huge response with more than 105 registrations and most of the viewers, watched the lecture on facebook live. The program was well appreciated by the alumni as well as fresh graduates who were curious to know the nuances of practice management. Dr. Wani wonderfully integrated the concepts of business management with day to day challenges faced by the clinician and elucidated effective techniques for efficient practice management.
