An awareness Guest lecture was conducted by Gender Equity and anti-Harassment Committee on 17 March 2023 at Pride Hall, Vspmdcrc. The chief guest for the program was Dr. RohiniPatil, renowned Gynecologist. Dr. UshaRadke, Dean, VSPM DCRC. Dr. S R Shenoi, Vice Dean all the HODs, teaching and non-teaching staff members werepresent for the program. Dr. PranjaliBawankar, member Secretary GEAHC was the master of the ceremony and the event commenced with the welcome of the Guest speaker by Dr. Dr. UshaRadke. Dr. S R Shenoi and Dr. UshaRadke addressed the gathering. Dr. MohitGunwal, member GEAHC,VSPM DCRC introduced the speaker. The Speaker highlighted all the possible risk factors and symptoms of the breast cancer and also showed a video demonstrating the physical breast examination. Dr. Patil resolved all the doubts and questions of the audience in the question answer session at the end of the lecture.The session concludedwith the vote of thanks proposed by Dr.PranjaliBawankar, member Secretary GEAHC.
