Admission 2024-25CBCT scan machine installed at VSPM’s Dental college & Research Centre, Nagpur.

The department of Oral Medicine and Radiology of Ranjit Deshmukh Dental College (former VSPM’s DC&RC), Hingna Nagpur, is now equipped with the latest upgraded version of CBCT (Carestream with FOV of 16×17 mm) in Nagpur city which has a maximum coverage of facial structures.
This CBCT machine is used for imaging the entire oral and maxillofacial region in all three dimensions.
It is helpful for planning dental implants, diagnosing facial and jaw fractures, oral cancer, etc. This facility of CBCT can be a boon for researchers, post graduates and clinicians of the city with minimum charges per scan.
The machine was inaugurated at the hands of Honorable Working Chairman Dr Ashish Deshmukh, VSPMAHE. Other dignitaries present were Dean, NKPSIMS Dr Kajal mitra, Dr Manisha Deshpande, principal, VSPM college of physiotherapy, Mrs. Amrapali Gajbhiye principal VSPM college of Nursing, head of the departments and faculty of the institutes. Dr Ashish Deshmukh congratulated Dean Dr Usha Radke, Vice deans Dr Ramakrishna shenoi , Dr Mukta Motwani and other staff members of the Oral medicine and radiology department on this occasion.
Dr Mukta Motwani, VD, HOD, OMRacknowledged the presence of dignitaries and thanked the management of VSPM for making this equipment available in the department. The machine is declared available for use for general population and patients across the city at this health care unit of Maharashtra.
