A CDE on Prosthetic Management of Maxillofacial Defects was conducted by the Department of Prosthodontics on 9th February 2024. Wherein Dr Usha Radke, Former Dean, RDDC & RC, Nagpur graced the occasion by being the Guest of Honour.

The Speakers-Dr Swapnil Agrawal, FHNS Consultant, Head & Neck Cancer Surgeon, Nagpur and Dr Akhil Rathi spoke on the topics- “Oral cancer-improving quality of life” and “Role of prosthodontics in management of maxillofacial defects”, respectively. It was followed by a panel discussion with Dr Vivek Harkare, HOD, ENT department, NKPSIMS, Nagpur; Dr Swapnil Agrawal and Dr Akhil Rathi as the panellist. Various questions and clinical case scenarios from the audience were discussed.
