HSET Unit of VSPM’s Dental College and Research Centre, Nagpur organized a webinar on e-portfolios in Dental Education on 10th Feb 2022 via zoom online platform. Dr. Chinmay Shah- Professor & Head, Department of Physiology, GSMC-FAIMER Fellow 2008 and Faculty, GMC Bhavnagar, Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India was the Resource person for the programme.

       Dr Usha Radke- Dean and Dr SR Shenoi- Vice Dean welcomed the speaker and the participants. Dr Usha Shenoy (Co-ordinator HSET Unit) emphasized that as the new and innovative technology is used in higher education, it was deemed necessary by the unit to sensitize the faculty regarding concept of e-portfolio.

      Dr Shah explained various concepts like basic uses of portfolio, types of portfolios and how they can be used in dental education in details. He gave a demonstration of using LMS and google sites for portfolio development. He also answered various questions posed by the participants. Dr Surekha Rathod moderated the session very efficiently. 43 faculty actively participated in this online webinar.
