The Department of Periodontics and Implantology had organized E-Alumnivista ‘For the Alumni- By the Alumni’ a feast of Scientific extravaganza on 30^th September 2021 and 7^th October 2021. The speakers were Dr. Pavan Bajaj who spoke on the topic ‘Evolution of Platelet Concentrates’ and Dr. Pranita Rode who enlightened on the topic ‘PCR- Revolutionizing the diagnostic approach in Dentistry.’ The moderators for the two sessions were Dr. Priyanka Jaiswal and Dr. Neha Deshpande. The programme was conducted on a virtual platform and was attended by over 100 participants.

The MOC for the programme was Dr.VrushaliLathiya, Senior Lecturer in the Dept. of Periodontics and Implantology. The program commenced with a video depicting the glorious 25 years of the VSPM Dental College and Research Centre, Nagpur. Dr. PratimaShenoi, Chairperson of the Silver Jubilee Scientific Committee delivered the welcome address. The Dean Dr. Usha Radke and Vice Dean Dr. S.R. Shenoi shared their views on the occasion, congratulated the Scientific Committee for its initiative.The Chief guest for the programme was Dr. NympheaPandit, President of the Indian Society of Periodontology. Dr. Abhay Kolte, Prof. and Head, Department of Periodontics and Implantology introduced and felicitated the chief guest. Dr. NympheaPanditpraised the efforts of the staff members of Department of Periodontics and Implantology and the scientific committee for organizing this programme and congratulated the institute on the occasion of its silver jubilee.

The Department of Periodontics and Implantology also felicitated its ‘Star of Alumni galaxy’, Dr. Charu Ahuja for her achievements by playing a video of er accomplishments and presenting a certificate of appreciation. The lectures were highly informative. The speakers were felicitated the speakers and also took a question-and-answer session at the end of the lectures to address the queries of the participants.The Department of Periodontics and Implantology, VSPM Dental College and Research Centre, Nagpur, Scientific Committee, Silver Jubilee Celebration and Dr. Gagandeep Lamba, Organizing Secretary, Silver Jubilee Celebration strived hard for the success of the programme.
