An Orientation and sensitization program on Gender and Orientation harassment issues at workplace was conducted on 27th Nov 2024 by Gender equity and anti-Harrasment Committee. The Speaker for the event was Dr. Sushil Gawande,(Professor and Head, Dept of Psychiatry,NKPSIMS). Dr. Sushil Gawande highlighted the importance of social and gender equality and different ways of combating gender related issues at workplace. Dr. Sushil Gawande being a renowned Psychologist also highlighted the psychological aspects related to sexual Harassment. He also answered question related to mental disturbances caused due to gender inequality and different ways to overcome it. The program received overwhelming response from the undergraduate students, interns and Post graduate students.
