“To make an elderly person happy is the noblest act a young person can ever do!!”

With this motto, Dept.of Prosthodontics, VSPM DCRC, Nagpur has organized the Guest Lectures of Dr.PritiJaiswal, &Dr.SamidhaPande Sr. Lecturers, Dept. Of Prosthodontics. The title of the lectures was“Eat healthy: Stay healthy” and “Digitalization in Prosthodontics”. The program was scheduled for elderly patients reported and appointed between 9.30 am to 11.30 am.

Total 45-50 elder patients were present during the program. Many activities to promote health in elderly patients reported to the college were arranged.Dr.UshaRadke, Dean & HOD of the Dept. of Prosthodontics has given introductory remarks on this occasion. Dr.NeelamPande, Professor & IPS President, emphasized on the importance of nutritional aspects & oral hygiene maintenance to all the patients. Post-graduate students participated in E-poster competition titled “Quality of life in geriatric patients: Various factors to consider” &interns, I & II BDS students also participated in E-poster competition titled “Proshodontic aspects for geriatric patients”. Theme based rangoli was drawn by them. Slogan competition titled “JyeshtaNagrikDiwas” was also organised for non-teaching staff. Everyone participated with enthusiasm & full interest. Dr.JayashriChahande has delivered vote of thanks.

Program was followed by cake cutting with the hands of patients, followed by refreshment to all. Brochures of various Prosthodontic treatment facilities available in the department were distributed to all the patients. 

All PG guides, teaching staff members, PG students & non-teaching staff worked hard for the success of this program.
