The program on the occasion of Menstrual hygiene Day was conducted by Gender Equity and anti-Harrasment Committee on 09/06/2023 at Oral Pathology Lecture Hall. The guest speaker for the event was Dr. Swati Sarda.Dr. Swatihighlighted the importance of menstrual hygiene and eco-friendly ways of disposal of menstrual waste. She also promoted sustainable comfortable new-age menstruation and hygiene products. She also addressed all the doubts and questions of the participants regarding PCOS and menstruation myths and facts. She promoted use of menstrual cups for lowering the environmental waste burden.
