The e-lecture on Menstrual Hygiene was conducted on 28th May 2021 by Gender Harrasment and Equity Committee. The guest speaker for the event was Dr. Prajakta Barde. Dr. Jaya Joshi, member GHEC, was the master of the ceremony and the event commenced with the welcome of the dignitaries. Dr. Chetana Makade, chairperson GHC, delivered the welcome address which was followed by speech by Vice-Dean. Dr. S R Shenoi, Dean Dr. Usha Radke. Dr. Prajakta Barde highlighted the importance of menstrual hygiene and eco-friendly ways of disposal of menstrual waste. She also promoted sustainable comfortable new-age menstruation.

The lecture received overwhelming response from viewers from Facebook which included the faculty, interns and Post graduate students. The lecture concluded with a question answer session and the e-certificates were presented to the speaker at the end of the session. The session was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Miss. Sanjana Agrawal, student member GHEC.
