On occasion of World “No Tobacco Day” Dept. of Oral Medicine and Radiology conducted an awareness lecture on 31st May 2023 for nursing students of VSPM MDNE. The lecture was introduced with importance of all health professional including nurses to stop the tobacco addiction practices in society. The lecture also covered various forms of tobacco, systemic and oral effects of tobacco, importance of counselling COTPA and oath taking for deaddiction. The lecture was well appreciated by students. Director, Dean, Vice Dean and Teaching Staff of nursing institute appreciated the lecture and congratulated team OMR. The event was guided by Dr.MuktaMotwani, Professor and Head, Dept. of OMR. The lecture was delivered by Dr.TapasyaKaremore, Asso. Professor on behalf of Dept. of OMR.
