ON occasion of children’s day, the dept of pediatric and preventive dentistry of VSPM Dental college and research centre performed Nukkad Natak titled, ‘Doodh ke daanton ka mahatva’ (Importance of Milk teeth) on 22nd Nov in the Lata Mangeshkar Hospital Campus. A team of interns and postgraduate students lead by Dr Prabhat Singh Assistant Lecturer of Dept of pediatric and preventive dentistry participated in it. The act was scripted in Hindi and aimed to create awareness about importance of primary teeth amongst the general public. A leaflet showing various treatment modalities as well as some key oral health facts and myths in children was distributed to reinforce the above points.
