VSPM DCRC, Nagpur Alumni Association organized a Webinar on “Overseas Opportunities for Dental Graduates” for the interns of the institution. Webinar was conducted on 20/10/2020 & 21/10/2020. It was a nostalgic at the same time a proud feeling for the Dean, Dr.Usha Radke. Vice Dean, Dr.Ramakrishna Shenoi and all the faculties present to see their own students scaling new heights and making them proud.

Alumni members settled in different parts of the world shared their experiences and expertise. The alumni who spoke about their experiences and education abroad were Dr.Lakshmikant Hedau who is pursuing his higher studies in Australia, Dr.Rachit Singh in Germany and Dr. Amrita Swamy, who is pursuing her DDS, from prestigious New York University, USA.The alumni though in different time zones, were all set to guide their juniors for a bright future abroad. They gave strategicideas on how a dental graduate could start planning their journey towards studying abroad while still doing their internship.

This program was organized as undergraduates of the college had expressedkeen interest in pursuing higher studies abroad. The alumni committee members worked tirelessly to pool in various alumni who could prove to be a guiding light for the budding dentists. Strenuous efforts were taken by the Secretary Alumni Association Dr.Gagandeep Lamba, for the smooth functioning of the event. Dr. Smriti Jagdhari, Vice president and Dr.Mohit Gunwal, Joint secretary also contributed for the success of the program. Dr. Aishwarya Ikhar, alumni of VSPMDCRC conducted the proceedings of the event smoothly.
