Admission 2024-25Prosthodontist Day Celebration 2023

On the occasion of World Prosthodontist Day 22 January 2023; Dept. of Prosthodontics in association with Indian Prosthodontic Society, Nagpur Branch conducted lots of week-long activities.
Maxillofacial rehabilitation camp was held at RST regional cancer hospital in association with ‘Prayaas’ Centre of excellence, VSPM DCRC and IPS Nagpur branch with an awareness lecture by Dr NeelamPande and screening and treatment for around 25 patients requiring maxillofacial rehabilitation. The arrangements of the camp were done by Dr Saee Deshpande and Dr Rajlakshmi Banerjee.
A lecture was organized for post graduates and interns on the topic ‘The basics of Implantology’ by Dr Husain Hariyanawala.
A Quiz competition for Final year BDS students on Prosthodontics was conducted by Dr.AkhilRathi, Dr PritiJaiswal and Dr JaishreeChahande.
Interdepartmental PG Debate competition was conducted by Dr AnujChandak on “Graft versus Graftless solutions in implants” debated for and against by PGs of Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Extempore presentation competition for final year students was arranged by Dr Rahul Tekale and Dr RichaSahai.
Quiz competition on Dental Materials for 2nd BDS was conducted as part of Prosthodontist week long celebrations, organized by Dr Jayashree Joshi and Dr Anita Kahar.
Dr OjasGajbhiye conducted a lecture for First BDS students on the ‘Scope of Prosthodontics.’
Prize distribution was done with exciting prizes for all the winners in all the competitions and all coordinators of various programmes were felicitated in the valedictory programme at the end of the Prostho-week celebrations. Cake cutting ceremony in the department was done at the hands of Dr UshaRadke, HOD, Dept of Prosthodontics, in the presence of the entire department.
A video was released depicting the Role of Dental technicians in the smooth functioning of the Prosthodontic department. Radke madam congratulated all the teaching staff and PGs and the entire non-teaching staff for successful conduction of all activities.
