Every year Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery organises Suture & wiring Practicum Add-on Course, where interns participate to acquire hands on training for basic surgical skills related to suturing and wiring technique. This year also event was organised from 1/12/22 in which interns participated with great enthusiasm. Initially Dr S R Shenoi, HOD & organising chairperson for workshop guided all participants, followed by demonstration of suturing technique by Dr Vrinda Kolte, Professor Oral and maxillofacial Surgery and co-Chair for course and wiring technique on plaster models by Dr PranaoIngole. All participants practiced same on models in groups, under guidance of Course faculty Dr Nilima Agrawal, Dr Rahul Dahake, Dr Sandeep Khandaitkar and resident doctors of department. More than 80 participants benefited by this workshop Add on course ended with suturing competition which was won by HarshalLohe, Second prize by Abhilasha Lad, and third by ReenaGabhane.
