The e-lecture on VISHAKHA Guidelineswas conducted by Gender Harrasment and Equity Committee. The guest speaker for the event was Dr. PratibhaDawande. Dr. Jaya Joshi, member GHEC, was the master of the ceremony and the event commenced with the welcome of the dignitaries. Dr. ChetanaMakade, chairperson GHC, delivered the welcome address which was followed by speech by Vice-Dean. Dr. S R Shenoi, Dean Dr. UshaRadke. Dr. SaeeDeshmukh, Asso. Prof, Dept of Prosthodontics, VSPM DCRC, moderated the session. Dr. PratibhaDawande highlighted various modes of harassment at workplace and the measures to be taken to prevent it. She also explained various procedural guidelines called Vishakha Guidelines to combat it.
The lecture received overwhelming response from viewers from facebook which included the faculty, Undergraduate and Post graduate students. The lecture concluded with a question answer session and the e-certificates were presented to the speaker and the moderator at the end of the session. The session was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Sujoy Banerjee, member GHEC
