On 5th June 2024, the institution celebrated World Environment Day with an impactful tree plantation drive held at the Sahyadri Hostel. The event was organized to promote environmental awareness and sustainability among the student body and faculty. The main activity of the event was the plantation of five trees within the hostel premises. The tree plantation activity was a symbolic gesture to underline the importance of green cover and the role trees play in combating climate change. It also aimed to instil a sense of environmental responsibility among the students and staff. The event concluded with a brief address by the Dean, emphasizing the importance of continuous efforts towards environmental conservation. The Institution plans to conduct more such activities in the future, encouraging broader participation from the entire campus community to foster a culture of environmental stewardship.
