A CDE program was conducted onWorld No Tobacco day – 31st May 2023 by the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at VSPM Dental College and Research Centre, Nagpur. Dr.VinayHazarey, Ex Dean, Government Dental College and Hospital Nagpur and Inter-Nationally renowned Anti-Tobacco activist was invited as the Guest speaker for the event, where he spoke on Diagnosis and Management of Precancerous lesions and Oral Cancer. The hazards and ill effects of tobacco use and its contribution to deteriorating oral as well as systemic health were discussed in detail. A pledge was imparted to quit Tobacco/E- Cigarette by Dr.Hazarey.The event was of great success which was attended by the Staff, Students, Interns as well as Non-teaching Staff.
