On World No Tobacco Day, the Departments of Oral Medicine & Radiology and Public Health Dentistry at Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College conducted a tobacco awareness lecture and quit tobacco pledge for 60 non-teaching employees on May 31, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the PRIDE Hall. The event began with an inauguration by Dean Dr. Abhay Kolte, followed by a lecture by Dr. Smriti Jagdhari on the harmful effects of tobacco and cessation methods. Dr. Parijit Wagh led the Quit Tobacco Pledge. The programme concluded with speaker felicitations and a vote of thanks.
