Department of Prosthodontics, Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College and Research Centre, Nagpur in association with Indian Prosthodontic Society, Nagpur branch celebrated ‘World Prosthodontist Day’by organizing a free dental screening camp at Anandnagar, Jaitala wherein more than 100 residents were screened. Dr Neelam Pande, HOD & Professor, Department of Prosthodontics informed about various dental treatment options. The camp was Coordinated by Dr Ojas Gajbhiye and Dr Kalyani Deshmukh. On 15th January, an Inter collegiate PG case presentation competition & panel discussion by the eminent personalities on ‘Implant supported full mouth/full arch prosthesis’, was arranged where in Post graduates from 4 dental colleges participated. The event was coordinated by Dr Rajlakshmi Banerjee and Dr. Rahul Tekale. International webinar by Professor Lin Seow, Professor and HOD Department of Prosthodontics, IMU, Malasiya was organised for which, Dr Saee Deshpande and Dr Akhil Rathi were the coordinators. Various competitions were arranged for the Interns and undergraduates of the college with Dr.Anuj Chandak, Dr.Priti Jaiswal Dr.Jaishree Joshi, Dr Richa Sahai, Dr.Samidha Pande, Dr.Jaishree Chahande and Dr Anita Kahar were the Faculty Coordinators.

On the 23rdof January 2024 the celebration concluded with a ‘Social Awareness Rally’by all the teaching, non-teaching staff, PGs and Interns of the department.
