Admission 2024-25The department of Public Health Dentistry of VSPM dental college & research centre in association with Stuedent’s Welfare Association (SWA) of the institution has celebrated World AIDS day on 01st December, 2018. The event included the inauguration of the AIDS awareness rally by the respected Dean Madam, Dr.Usha Radke and Vice-Dean sir, Dr.R.K.Shenoi in the presence of other faculty members. There was a briefing about the World AIDS day signifying its importance by Dr.K.Venugopal Reddy, Head of the department, Department of Public Health Dentistry. It was followed by flagging off the rally by the Dean and Vice-Dean. The rally started from the dental college premises and carried out till IC square in Hingna. There was active participation from the students wearing the AIDS ribbons/Red ribbons holding the banners, Placards spreading the awareness and suggesting the measures for the prevention of about this important public health problem. There was also distribution of pamphlets containing the information on various aspects of AIDS. The event was a success with appreciation from all.
