Admission 2024-25Photographs are symbolic of memories and with the advent of digital photography it has become easier to collect them in a mere second. Digital photography has today, quite sure, penetrated all segments of life, providing new facts and perceptions in the field of science, medicine, industry, fashion, arts and dentistry as well.
On 19th April 2018 a one-day local workshop on dental photography, was conducted at Pride hall of VSPMDCRC. Dr. Mayur Davda who heads the Dental Photography School, Mumbai along with Dr. Devendra Nagpal, Professor in the department with more than 10 years’ experience in photography were the resource faculties for the events. Basic working of DSLR cameras was explained to the participants. Participants interacted with the speakers and had the opportunity to take extra oral and intra oral pictures alongside. Over 40 delegates including staff members, post graduate students and interns, graduated from mobile photography to DSLR lens with confidence. As rightly said, “A picture says more than a thousand words”, the workshop enhanced participants skills necessary to incorporate high quality standardised digital photography to everyday dental practice.
