International Kid’s Yoga Day was organized by Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, VSPM Dental College and Research Centre, Nagpur on 4th April 2019 at the department. It was a global event which was first started last year by Ms. Teresa Power, author of a famous book – ABC of yoga for kids.
More than 35 children participated in the program. A brief session was conducted on yoga and educated children on how these easy yoga poses can be done at home in just 5 minute span. Various breathing exercises were taught to children to help relax them during exam times.
The program ended with the distribution of certificates to the participants
Dr. Devendra Nagpal, Dr.Gagandeep Lamba, Dr.Purva Chaudhari and Dr.Prabhat singh , Dr Sargam sortey with PG Students of the department worked hard for the success of the program.
