18 Sep 2019: Oral Cancer is the most Prevailing disease in the world. It is one of five main causes of death. Its not only responsible for significant mortality but also causes physical, mental and sociological mutilation of an individual. Majority of cancer are preceded by pre-existing potientially malignant disorders. This concept of two step process of cancer development in the oral cavity i.e. initial presence of precursor (premalignant/ Precancerous ) lesions subsequently developing into cancer is well established.
CDE guest Lecture was conducted On Oral Potientially Malignant Disorder by DR. V.K. HAZAREY ,Guest Speaker who is most eminent personality in the field of Oral & maxillofacial Pathology. The session was interactive where our guest speaker shared his knowledge on oral potientially malignant disorders specially for IIIrd BDS (95)students attended as they just begin to step up with their clinical postings.
This guest lecture was oraganised by Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology VSPM DCRC and which was inaugurated by Dr. Usha Radke, Dean & Dr. Ramakrishna Shenoi, Vice Dean its coordinated by Dr.Alka Dive Mam,Head Of Department and other staff members, PG Students & Interns.
