Department of Prosthodontics, VSPM Dental College & Research Centre celebrated Prosthodontist Day on 22nd January 2020, in collaboration with IPS Nagpur Branch. Many scientific events were conducted in which Teeth arrangement competition was held amongst undergraduate students, for Post-graduate students Debate competition was arranged on topic “Face-bow recording is mandatory for all Prosthodontic rehabilitation” and also essay competition on the topic “Virtual Articulators”, where PGs from GDC&H Nagpur, also participated. This was followed by a guest lecture of Dr. Pravin Sundarkar on the topic “ Practice Management: You are worth it!” Winners were awarded trophies & certificates. Dr. Usha Radke Dean & HOD Dept. Of Prosthodontics & Dr. Neelam Pande IPS President Nagpur Branch & Professor Dept. Of Prosthodontics appreciated the efforts taken by Dr. Tushar Mowade, Dr. Saee Deshpande, Dr. Rajlaxmi Bannerjee, Dr. Anuj Chandak, DR. Jaya Joshi, Dr. Jayashree Chahande, Dr. Anita Kahar & all other teaching staff members.
Dr. Neelam Pande’s article on “Nutrition for Elderly” was also published in daily newspaper Cake cutting was done by patients reported to the Department. The movie on Prosthodontic Rehabilitation was also displayed in the registration lobby of the college. The event was very much successful.
