About
- Dr.Venugopal Reddy has successfully completed his BDS during 1997-2002 from HKE’s Dental College, Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences, Karnataka, India, and MDS during 2002-2005 from SDM college of dental sciences, Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences, Karnataka, India in Public Health Dentistry.
- Currently serving as a professor & Head in the Department of Public Health Dentistry at VSPM DC & RC holding 14 years of experience as a faculty out of which he is holding eight years of experience as a post-graduate guide and supervised six post-graduate students.
- He is currently holding 22 research publications to his credit in reputed journals. He authored two books and a good number of scientific presentations at various scientific platforms.
- He is a part of two MOUs indicating his commitment towards community service.
- He was the national coordinator for LIFELINE Express (World’s First Hospital in Train) sponsored by the Impact India Foundation, promoted by WHO, UNDP and UNICEF, Promoted by Ministry of health & family welfare and ministry of Railways, Govt of India. • He is also a coordinator for the EKAM Foundation, an international NGO working for maternal and child health.
- He was a member of the Board of studies for Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar, North Gujarat and People’s University, Bhopal.
- He chaired a no. of scientific sessions at various national specialty conferences, served as a post-graduate examiner, paper setter, undergraduate examiner and paper setter and was a part of the various community outreach programs.
- He conducted lectures on Research methodology for Ph.D. scholars at People’s University, Bhopal.
- He is serving as a reviewer for the Indian Journal of Public Health.
- He participated in the Dental council of India’s workshop on Training of professionals for National survey on 18th January 2011 and was a part of the national survey on the availability of dental health manpower and prevalence of dental diseases in urban & rural India conducted by DCI in March 2011 for Madhya Pradesh region.
- He was the organizing chairman for the various CDE programs, moderator for panel discussions and course coordinator for various research workshops.
- In the current institution, he is serving in the designation of member secretary of Institutional Anti-ragging committee, member of institutional Ethics committee, Chairperson of the NSS Committee, Chairperson of the Patient Care Committee, Chairperson of the dropbox committee, camp committee, hospital records, and statistics committee.
- He is a member of the NAAC core committee, IQAC, the working committee for the NAAC.
