Admission 2024-25A Continued Dental Education programme was conducted at Pride Hall, VSPM Dental College and Research Centre in association with ISP Nagpur Study group on 8th of December 2019.
Eminent speakers of the Indian Society of Periodontology fraternity including Dr. H.S Grover, Secretary ISP, Dr. Nymphea Pandit, President ISP, Dr. Neeraj Deshpande, Treasurer ISP were the Guests Speakers for the day. The programme started with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by the felicitation of the dignitaries. The distinguishedinvitee of the program were Dr. Usha Radke, Dean VSPM DCRC, Dr.SR Shenoi, Vice Dean, VSPM DCRC, Dr. R.M. Kohad, Convenor, ISP Study Group, Nagpur, Dr. M. B. Phadnaik, Dean GDC Nagpur. Dr. R. M.Zade,Chairman IEC VSPMDCRC, Dr. RK Yeltiwar, Ex- HOD, Department of Periodontics, VYWS Dental College and Hospital Amravati. About 106 delegates had registered for the program including post graduates, undergraduates and interns of the institute. Dr. H.S Grover spoke on Periodontal flap, Past, Present and Future, Dr. Nymphea Pandit threw light on Soft tissue grafts and substitutes and Dr. Neeraj Deshpande lectured on Periodontal Regeneration lessons, learnt and unlearnt. The speakers gave an insight into the vital concepts in periodontology and molded the current understanding of its clinical implications. All the speakers were given a certificate of appreciation and memento after delivering lecture. The program was followed by lunch.
