Admission 2024-25The department of Public Health Dentistry of VSPM dental college & research centre has celebrated WHO day on 07th April 2018 on the theme ‘ Universal Health Coverage: Everyone, Everywhere’. The programme was organized at the pride hall of the institution from 10.00a.m. onwards and included a guest lecture by Dr.Ajeet Saoji, Professor & Head, Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, NPKSIMS & RC. The programme was inaugurated by Vice-Dean, Dr.R.K.Shenoi. There were about 120 participants who graced the occasion including Heads of the departments, faculties and students. The topic for the lecture included ‘Health coverage in India with special emphasis on the state of Maharashtra. The lecture was beneficial for the faculty, students .There was also Skit presentation by our interns on the theme to create awareness about various health schemes in the state of Mahatrastra in a village Shivangaon which was at a distance of three kilometers from the institution. The programme was a success with definite take home message from the speaker.
