A guest lecture by Prof Sumant Tekade was organized for all staff and students of VSPM Dental College & Research Centre on 8th Sep 2015. He spoke on Leadership Qualities of Shivaji Maharaj which was very well appreciated by the audience.
Session on e-learning in Dentistry held on 7 Dec 2015. Speaker Dr. Saee Deshpande explained in detail the concept of e-learning and its use in dentistry, especially for teaching-learning. It was followed by a brief question-answer session.
Research Methodology Workshop for PG Students 2015
Three days Research Methodology workshop was conducted for post-graduate students of VSPM Dental College & Research Centre on 26th- 28th August 2015.
The faculty for this workshop was from Dept of PSM, NKPSIMS, Nagpur.
The post-graduate students who are required to undertake their short term research and dissertation work were greatly benefitted by the sessions providing a better understanding of the process of research.
Resident as a Teacher (RAT) Workshop
As per the MUHS norms Residents need to receive training for their role as a teacher as well. Therefore DET Unit of VSPMDCRC organized first RAT workshop on 26th- 27th Oct 2015 for post-graduate students of VSPM Dental College & Research Centre.
All faculty were the members of DET unit recognized by MUHS, Nashik. Various topics related to teaching technology were covered so that PGs can excel in their role as teacher/ mentor for undergraduates students. All second and third year PGs from all departments participated in this workshop.
